Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Eastvilla Music LLC (“MRG,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information when you visit itsmrg.com (the “Site”), join our email or text list, contact us, or buy something from us. It applies to the Site and to the emails and text messages we send. It doesn’t cover third-party sites we link to, like Spotify, Apple Music or Instagram — those have their own policies.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Fan list sign-up: first name, email address, and (optional) mobile phone number and zip code, plus whether you agreed to receive texts.
• Booking and contact inquiries: name, email, phone, event type, date, city/venue and your message.
• Purchases (music, merch, tickets, tips and “Cara a Cara con MRG” video calls): name, email, phone, billing and shipping address, what you bought, size/quantity, and the call time you picked. Card and payment details are entered directly on Stripe’s secure checkout page — we never see or store your full card number. We receive limited payment info from Stripe such as the last four digits, card brand and payment status.
• Video calls: anything you choose to say or show during a Cara a Cara call. We do not record calls (see our Terms).
• Messages to us: anything you send by email, text reply or social media DM.

Information collected automatically

• Visit statistics: pages viewed, links clicked (for example “Spotify”), the website that referred you, browser type and the date/time of your visit.
• Approximate location: our host, Cloudflare, tells us the approximate city, region, zip code and country your connection comes from. If you give us a zip code, we use that instead. We do not store your IP address in our visit statistics, and we don’t collect precise GPS location.
• Visitor ID: if you allow analytics, a random ID is saved in your browser so we can count unique visitors. See our Cookie Policy.

Information from others

• Payment and order details from Stripe; shipping and delivery updates from our merch printer, Printful; delivery and opt-out status from TextMagic.
• Fan contact lists from MRG’s past shows, events and promotions where you gave us your contact info. Anyone added this way can unsubscribe at any time.

2. How we use it

• To process and deliver orders, downloads, tickets and video calls, send receipts, confirmations and call links, and handle refunds and customer support.
• To send you MRG news, new music, show announcements and offers if you signed up (by email, or by text if you checked the SMS box).
• To tell fans about shows near them, using your zip code or approximate location.
• To respond to booking, press and other inquiries.
• To understand how the Site is used and improve it.
• To prevent fraud, spam and abuse, protect our rights, and comply with law, taxes and accounting.

We don’t use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Site and business, and only for that purpose:

We may also share information: (a) with MRG’s management or booking team to answer your inquiry; (b) with a venue or promoter if needed to check you in for a show you bought tickets to; (c) if required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the safety, rights or property of MRG, our fans or others; and (d) as part of a sale, merger or transfer of MRG’s business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

4. Text messages (SMS)

If you check the SMS box, you agree to receive recurring marketing text messages from MRG at the number you gave. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Full details are in our SMS Terms.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, except the text-messaging provider (TextMagic) that sends the messages for us.

5. Marketing emails

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and our mailing address. You can also unsubscribe at itsmrg.com/api/unsubscribe. Unsubscribing from marketing doesn’t stop order-related emails like receipts and call links.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use our own simple analytics — no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, and no ad trackers. We use browser storage only for things the Site needs and, if you allow it, for counting unique visitors and loading the Spotify player. You can change your choice any time. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out and turn off optional analytics and embeds automatically. Because there is no common standard for “Do Not Track,” we treat it the same way as GPC.

7. How long we keep it

• Fan list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After you opt out, we keep a minimal record of your email/phone so we don’t message you again.
• Orders: up to 7 years, for tax and accounting.
• Booking inquiries and visit statistics: only as long as they’re useful for answering you or understanding Site trends, after which we delete them.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).

8. Security

The Site uses HTTPS encryption, payments are handled by Stripe (PCI-DSS certified), and our admin tools are password-protected. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if required by law in the event of a breach.

9. Your choices and rights

• Emails: click “Unsubscribe” in any email.
• Texts: reply STOP to any message.
• Analytics and embeds: change your settings on the Cookie Policy page.
• Access, correction and deletion: email us at mrgwingteam@gmail.com to get a copy of your information, fix it, or delete it. We may need to confirm your identity (for example, by asking you to reply from the email on file) and we may keep information we’re legally required to keep, like order records.

We’ll respond within 45 days. We will never treat you differently or charge you more for using your privacy rights.

10. U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on where you live — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, New Jersey and other states with consumer privacy laws — you may have the right to:

• know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and get a copy of it;
• correct inaccurate information;
• delete your information;
• opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for targeted advertising, and of profiling (we don’t do any of these);
• limit the use of sensitive personal information (we don’t collect any, other than as needed to process payments);
• appeal our decision if we deny your request — reply to our decision and ask for an appeal, and if you’re still unhappy you can contact your state attorney general;
• use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf (we may ask for proof they’re authorized).

California notice at collection. In the last 12 months we collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, phone, address, random visitor ID); customer records and commercial information (orders and purchase history); internet activity (pages viewed, clicks, referrer); approximate geolocation (city, zip, region); and audio/visual information only during a live video call you booked. Sources, purposes, recipients and retention are described above. We disclose these categories to service providers for business purposes only. We have not sold or “shared” personal information and have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing information of anyone under 16. California residents can also ask, under California’s “Shine the Light” law, whether we shared information with third parties for their direct marketing — we don’t.

Nevada residents: we do not sell covered information as defined by Nevada law.

11. Visitors outside the U.S.

MRG is based in New York, and the Site is operated from the United States. If you visit from Canada, the Dominican Republic, the EU/UK or elsewhere, your information will be processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from yours. Where laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR or Canada’s PIPEDA apply, our legal bases are: performing our contract with you (orders), your consent (marketing emails and texts, optional analytics and embeds — which you can withdraw at any time), and our legitimate interests (running and securing the Site, answering inquiries). You may have additional rights, including to object to processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We send commercial emails to Canadian residents only with consent, as required by Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL).

12. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email us and we’ll delete it. Fans aged 13–17 should have a parent or guardian’s permission before signing up or buying anything, and a parent or guardian must book any video call for a minor (see our Terms).

13. Changes

We may update this policy as the Site or the law changes. We’ll update the date at the top, and if the changes are significant we’ll let you know (for example, by email or a notice on the Site).
